Kaweco DIY Fountain Pen Sep 4-13 (IN STORE ONLY)

Join us for this one week, in-store only (cannot be shipped), annual event and make your own limited edition Kaweco Sport fountain pen! 2026 is the year of the glow in the dark pen, and we will have some limited supplies for the 2025 Emerald and 2024 Berry. This listing is to reserve your nib/color choice for the in-store event. We have to pre-order all supplies so anyone who pre-orders by 8/21 will get their nib size. No appointment needed to come in store to make the pen. Anyone who doesn't pre-order is still welcome to come in to make a pen but could be limited to the supplies/nib sizes on hand. If you cannot attend the in-store event but have purchased the pen, we will make it for you and hold it for pickup at your next visit. In the event Kaweco cannot fulfill all orders we will notify everyone of alternatives (typically different nib sizes) and offer a change or credit.

Charge the translucent green pen up with either natural or UV light to see it from its best side – as the shining eye-catcher in your pencil case, bag, or cozied up under the blanket! The silver elements emphasize the cool character of the otherworldly colour.

Make your own Kaweco

Seven components – our Kaweco Sport fountain pen is made of high-quality plastic and consists of many individual parts. Unlike fully automated machine parks, our writing instruments are assembled by hand every day in our factory in Nuremberg. Slip into our shoes with the Kaweco DIY Sport and build your own personalized fountain pen. The fountain pen is available exclusively in stationery retail stores as a DIY product and cannot be purchased online.

Glowing companion

For an even more personal touch,you can equip your DIY Sport with your desired nib size, ranging from extra fine (EF) to extra broad (BB). For beginners, we recommend nib size M. All nibs are produced in Germany. The writing instrument comes ready to use with a royal blue ink cartridge.

You can choose between three nib sizes, ranging from fine (F), medium (M) to broad (B). If you’re not sure which size you want or need, we recommend the nib size M. All nibs and the entire fountain pen are made in Germany. The writing instrument is ready for use with an ink cartridge in the colour Royal Blue.
