Kaweco DIY: Build Your Own Fountain Pen
Join us for our annual Kaweco DIY event where you can build your own fountain pen! This year's exclusive design is GLOW IN THE DARK!!! We will also have limited quantities of the 2025 Emerald and the 2024 Berry components available.
No skill needed!! The machines are manual and easy, and we can help! The pens are $38 and we will send out pre-order links to reserve your nib and color of choice. Walk-in's will be welcome as supplies last, but pre-orders are recommended and will be released in August.
Note: these pens are ONLY available to purchase during the week of the event. Retailers are prohibited from selling before, after, or online so don't miss the opportunity to get this exclusive pen!
Fountain Pens 101
Newbies Welcome!!! Join us for a fun introduction to fountain pens. We will provide you with an entry level pen, ink cartridge, converter, ink sample and walk you through all you need to know to get started on your new fountain pen journey!
No mess, no stress, this is the easy way to get started! We will share tips and talk through papers, pens, inks and additional learning resources. This is a terrific way to meet other stationery fans and join our local pen community.
All attendees will also get 10% off purchases in-store that evening. (*discount applies to eligible products based on manufacturer policies)
PenPals: Sunday Lettering Project
Join us in store to choose a penpal letter to write back to! As a letterkeeper we have some letters on hand for anyone to read and respond to. We will have all supplies needed available for you so stop in, make your Kaweco DIY and write a penpal letter! The best part is you don't have to share any public info, all letters are sent and received by stores that serve as letterkeepers so you maintain your privacy.
Brush Calligraphy Workshop
We are excited to kick-off our calligraphy workshops with a brush pen calligraphy class. Date/time is being finalized!

Pelikan Hub!! Registration opens June 25 on Pelikan's site. We rented out the Peddler's Pub for this fun free annual, global, event. We invite you to join us to celebrate the enduring legacy of the handwritten word.
Whether you are a long-standing regular or joining us for the first time, you are about to embark on a journey dedicated to the tactile beauty of fine writing. We invite you to bring your most cherished instruments and inks, and join an inspiring sanctuary where every pen tells a story.
Our hub will also be providing materials to write a letter to your future self. Next year we will mail it to you a week before the Pelikan hub to reflect on your hopes, memories and wishes and how your year has transpired. Join us to write your next chapter, together with our community of Pelikan enthusiasts.
All who register will get details on the evening in advance to help plan for meals and travel. We will have a cash bar open and we will share links to the restaurants for reservations or to-go meal options if you'd like to eat in Peddler's before our gathering.

Holiday Illumination & Kick-off Weekend
All the holiday feels and fun start this weekend in Peddler's village with the grand illumination friday night and continue through the weekend! Be sure to check out details so you don't miss out on all the fun. While Peddler’s Village is a top shopping destination all year long, the magic is amplified during the holidays, when a million multi-hued lights transform the Village into a winter wonderland. On Saturday and Sunday, visitors can enjoy a variety of live entertainment throughout the Village, including carolers, strolling performers, and other holiday surprises. Santa is available at Giggleberry Faire for photos!
