Classic Calligraphy Inks - Hand Made French-Dye Based

The perfect medium for practicing classic dip-pen calligraphy. French Dye-based with a perfect flow that dries to a subtle gloss. We use a thickening agent made with the resin of Sudan's Acacia trees, just as the Egyptians did 3000 years ago. Unlike the Egyptian inks however, these formulas are not intended to be lightfast or waterproof. Despite their rich texture they clean up easily. These inks are ideal for practicing, the key to mastering calligraphy.
